Clean drinking water thanks to Cento% and Made Blue
On Tuesday, June 8, the Cento% water meter reads 15,310,600 liters of clean drinking water for developing countries. A special milestone with a great impact. Thanks to our Cento% customers, 210 people have already gained access to clean drinking water through the Made Blue Foundation for at least 10 years.
Why water?
Water has an important meaning to everyone. Especially in the coffee world. A cup of coffee consists of 98% water. However, there are still 785 million people worldwide who do not have access to clean drinking water. As a result, they lack the crucial basis for a healthy existence. About Made Blue
Made Blue is an organization that invests in water projects for charities. In this way, they make safe drinking water available in areas where drinking water is still lacking. Kenya, Senegal, Ethiopia, Vietnam and Indonesia are countries in which water projects have been set up.
